Work Overloaded

It's been busy, so intense at work. I'm hoping that finishing these projects will help to build up my portfolio. So, I'm just putting all my energy into work as much as I can. Anyhow.. I envy those people who are at South By Southwest this week.

Everyone on the earth seems to be in Austin, Texas right this minute! No, it's not everyone on the earth but lots of web developers I admire are there at one place. Last time I visited Texas, I felt the place was so foreign even though I had been living in California for many years. It was a bit shocking when I saw that bottles of tabasco sauce were prepared for each person on a table at meal!

I quit my day job almost the same time I started this blog. I had some plans but they didn't work out well. By the contrast, not having a day job, I was really happy to be able to visit Vancouver in February. However, I didn't expect I would be this much busy when I get back home. I am developing an ecommerce website for a local company. This is enough big project for me already since I have to do everthing to launch the website all by myself. I am also asked to redesign a website which already exists. So, I am doing graphics, writing codes in XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, architecting all the framework with PHP and PostgreSQL, and building the web server. Doesn't it sound crazy? It is crazy that I still think I'm handling this well. It may not be the same next time I post for this blog though. Let's see..
