Google Analytics

I know I am all behind. I always thought making the scripts to store and view access logs for websites is usually easy. I tend to think web companies which use free services for this kind of task is that just being lazy! (Actually, I am the laziest. I know I know.) Anyway, I finally gave a try to Google Analytics

Setting up this tool is very easy if you are able to edit your own HTML. It's even super easy if you are using WordPress or something like that to generate pages dynamically for your websites. You probably only adding 2 lines of code to a template file.

"Geo Map Overlay" is really nice feature for me. I get to know this blog is actually read somewhere outside of Japan, which means a lot to me. Yes, I am getting some motivation here. Still, I don't think most of my clients don't need this much complex informations.

It is always good to try whatever is available to try (for free) as a web developer. I'll try to be that way as much as I can.

New in Family

My niece My niece and my mom

My mom totally looks very happy, doesn't she? My younger sister gave a birth for her second child on December 20th. She lives happily with her husband and his parents in Hiroshima. However, she decided to welcome the new baby with the support of her mom and my family in Kumamoto. It seems this is a very common thing here in Japan.

Today, our three kids will meet this new-born cousin at the hospital. No worries needed. The baby and the mom are both in good shape. It is also common to take a longer time at a hospital after giving a birth in Japan, usually 5 days to a week. We are expecting them coming back to home on next Monday. It will be packed, 9 people in this small shack for next few months before they return to Hiroshima.
