EOS 10D Yes, it's a overexposed photo taken with an automated digital camera. Why did it happen? Actually, it's very common. Even though the subject is dark, the camera intentionally adjusted the exposure so the frame become gray, which is the right thing to do for most of the times. However, I want CONTROL when it comes to photography.

Anyways, as you see the photo, I just bought a used EOS 10D. This is my first DSLR. I already took some shots. The photos look much nicer than the photos taken with my other cameras. I like this camera! This model is already 4 years old, but I don't think I need another DSLR in near future. This one has everything I need. I might look for some lenses though.

I am going to have lots of fun with this camera for sure. As it's getting warmer, this is the best time to walk around too.

BTW, I've been riding my bike. My wife was wrong.

nice Quinn,

hey, i will be playing around with a H DSLR hasselblad @ my new job. that is going to be interesting. control, yes, you want all the auto settings, but still want to shoot in manual mode. that is how it goes.

To jeff,

It's always nice to hear from you. Where have you been? Anyway, there are some new shooting skills with the DSLR I found.. like checking on the histogram of the photo right after the shot. But I still need to learn how to read the histogram and adjust the exposure precisely. It's not as instant as it seems.
